Hi,

first of all thank you for the great extension. The "tweakability" is the best :)
Now to my question. I would like to use the + (plus symbol) in the option field of the products like "1 product + get 1 free".
It's shown in the product options but after adding to cart it's missing due to urldecode.

Why did you use urldecode?
And will it cause any damage if I just replace it like that?
".urldecode($cartproduct->option)."
with
".($cartproduct->option)."
What consequences does it have removing urldecode there?

Thanks a lot

The sending email address and the name are the ones you have configured for your SITE. Look in Joomla>Configuration and check whether the info is set properly. Alternatively you can check the configuration.php file on your site's root to see if the josConfig_fromname and josConfig_from hev been set.

Case solved! Thanks a lot Bos!

I thought all this time that since I was populating via URL, that only the caddy.html.php was responsible for the cart. I didn't suspect that the caddy.php was also being used which is why I didn't bother to look in there.

But anyway, from now on I'll be able to sleep peacefully knowing that there are no more ghosts in my site. :)

Thanks again,

Well...I may have modified things I do not understand but now I have investigated this more.
If I in the first order page changes the quantity from 1 to other number or even from an higher to a lower number then the calculation works.
So in some way I have to use the change button, then it works. It is not working if adding the same product twice from product page. Strange strange....

I also have an other problem, all products are unique and there is only one copy of each product, so I need a way to prevent customers from adding the same product twice. But thats an other story ..

ah, if I dared ....

I would say you could attach to a product, product category or store.
1 - if the proper discount is attached to nothing: it applies across the shop.
2 - if the proper discount is attached to a category, it applies to all products in the selected category
3 - if the proper discount is attached to several products, they apply to this product group (multiselection in a category)
4 - if the proper discount is attached to a product, it applies only to this product

well you could do gift vouchers, sales, special offers quantities (end of series, destocking and sales ,....) flash or private sales, VIP sales....

....then I would become rich very quickly, I'll buy google tomorrow, I would become the master of the world, and I would make simplecaddy mandatory ... not good?!!!!..... ;)

The thing here is, that joomla articles are supposed to change over time, and you have no say over the ID.

The plugin idea is that you can place any product in any article, just like any other joomla plugin. You can also place the plugin for one product in different articles (content) in Joomla thus allowing for different ways of selling/promoting the article.

The category in the articles is a simple way to group them in the backend. Some people have hundreds of articles for sale and like to group them in the backend for easier retrieval.

As a supplement to this, the plugin also supports the category=abc123 parameter which would give you an easy list of articles in the front end for sale.

But most of all, SimpleCaddy is to be Simple. Simple to use (yet powerful) and simple to customize, either in css or in code. SimpleCaddy is made with simple instructions, easily readable and comprehensible by most programmers. Non-programmers should not start to hack in the code though, but that is not specific for SimpleCaddy.

SimpleCaddy was not created to make multiple shops and does not integrate user management. User management is (until now) not supported in Joomla. Creating such an environment in SimpleCaddy would go far beyond the Simple idea behind the program.

That should be done on a content basis. SimpleCaddy has no features to tie a product (availability) to specific users and/or logged-in status.

actualy, the module give only a delivery zone, shipping point down, shippind point up, en cost.

But I can use a carrier for a delivery zone and an other for other delivery zone.
for exemple, use carrier "Collissimo La Poste" for the delivery zone "France" for little order and use carrier "Mondial relay" for big order in Europe or carrier "UPS" for delivery zone International

The carrier's concurrence

it's why i think it's need a new field for give the carrier.

and it's a legal obligation to give a delivery delay in france

thanks for answers

In the module, you will find the following function call:

$cart=$cart2->readCart();

From there on, the $cart variable contains everything that is in the cart as an Array().
After that, you can create your own way of counting products and options, replacing the code block in the else{} section of that same function (in module).

Try to print out the cart with print_r($cart); to see what's in the cart and how you can use it.

I am looking for some help with modifying the scpaypal-file (and possibly other files?) so that it works with the Swedish payment gateway "Payson".

Payson has English documentation on how to integrate in a zip file here:
http://www.payson.se/Info/Agentintegration.zip

Please let me know if you are interested. We can't pay very much - but at least some...
